As the largest sports medicine and exercise science organization in the world, ACSM has more than 20,000 International, National, and Regional Chapter members. The ARP is affiliated with the ACSM.
The National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) is the professional membership association for certified athletic trainers and others who support the athletic training profession.
The World Anti-Doping Agency’s mission is to lead a collaborative worldwide campaign for doping-free sport. It’s key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti Doping Code (Code) – the document harmonizing anti-doping policies in all sports and all countries.
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association offers and promotes effective anti-doping practices and programs for boxing and mixed martial arts. Currently, few state athletic commissions perform drug testing for performing enhancing substances. Sports regulators do not have the man-power, time, and funds to carry out the task. VADA is an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their commitment to clean sport.

Boxing Associations & Organizations
The ABC is a North American not for profit professional boxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organization that provides a framework for undertaking boxing and MMA bouts and record keeping. It is made up of members from state and tribal athletic commissions from the United States and Canada.
USA Boxing is the national governing body for Olympic-style amateur boxing. It is overseen by the United States Olympic Committee and the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA), who sets its rules.
The British Boxing Board of Control (BBB of C) is the governing body of professional boxing in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1929 from the old National Sporting Club and is headquartered in Cardiff.
The World Boxing Association (WBA) sanctions official matches, and awards the WBA world championship title at the professional level. It is the oldest of the major organizations recognized by IBHOF which sanction world championship bouts, alongside the IBF, the WBC and the WBO.
The WBC was established by 11 countries: the USA, Argentina, UK, France, Mexico, Philippines, Panama, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Brazil plus Puerto Rico in 1963 to form an international boxing organization that would achieve the unity of all commissions of the world to control the expansion of boxing.
The World Boxing Organization (WBO) is a sanctioning organization currently recognizing professional boxing world champions and is located in Puerto Rico.
The IBF is one of four major organizations recognized by IBHOF which sanction world championship boxing bouts, alongside the WBA, WBC and WBO.
The RBF assists retired professional boxers in the transition from their glorious days in the ring to a dignified retirement. They are advocates of fairness and honesty in the sport of boxing.
