ARP Mentoring Program
Want to learn more about ringside medicine? The ARP Mentoring Program pairs newcomers with experienced ringside physicians.
For Physicians and Allied Health Professionals
Learn the ropes from a seasoned pro. We pair interested physicians with veterans of combat sports medicine. The ARP also supports PAs, NPs, athletic trainers, chiropractors, EMTs, and paramedics practicing ringside under physician supervision.
For Residents and Medical Students
Your mentor can answer your questions about ringside medicine and help guide you toward experiences and professional development opportunities that will strengthen your understanding of ringside medicine. Ringside opportunities may be available depending on local regulation.
Become a Mentor
Share your knowledge and passion by becoming an ARP mentor. Please contact George Velasco with your interest, experience, location, and any information regarding your local commission’s policies on students and residents at events. Mentors must be ARP Members in good standing.
Interested? To be paired with a mentor in your area, write Eric Twohey at student@ringsidearp.org with your interest, experience, and location.
Medical students, interns, residents and attending physicians must be student/resident or physician members of the ARP. All programs are free of cost.
