ARP Certified Ringside PhysicianSM Examination Application
Step 1: Requirements
Have an MD or DO degree or foreign medical degree equivalent
Have provided ringside event coverage for a minimum of three professional cards with a minimum of 15 total fights, or five amateur cards with a minimum of 30 total fights
Be licensed and be in good standing with the licensing body authority (e.g., state, country, etc.) in which they have been a ringside physician for a minimum of two years (including being current with required CME by the licensing body authority)
Provide two forms of recommendation from the following sources: state/country athletic board commissioner, local boxing committee, or another ringside physician (please use the forms provided with this application)
Be board certified/eligible in their primary medical specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, etc.), if applicable
Provide a signed Online Certified Ringside Physician Listing Application Form
Clinical Experience Documentation Form (to be completed by state/country athletic commission)

Certification Maintenance:
To maintain certification, you must complete 12 hours of Combat Sports Medicine specific CME
